MBLBC’s Oval Debate - Sep 30 @ 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

JeanLouis Couzet, Executive Chairman of Biotec International Asia, spoke about how Biotec’s renewable energy technology is able to process  Palm Oil Mill Effluents (POME).

Their innovative tech, allows them to extract methane from POME,  which they use to produce electricity for sale to electricity grids or to be re-used for their mills.

JeanLouis Couzet went on to explain that this process allows Biotec to generate carbon credits and also extract organic fertilizer which can be re-used in vast plantations throughout Malaysia. Lastly, the process allows for Biotec to be able to return clear water to streams and rivers thus assisting the surrounding areas of their mills.
